To top it all, K-State comes to town after eking out a win over UT, then we travel to Columbia the following week? This could be quite a shitty couple of weeks.

Do we really have to use the cubbies as a comparison? I understand it, but it hurts too much... Lets say, the Royals of college athletics?
Ok, that probably hurts some people in other ways... I don't know, but to compare the Jayhawks to the cubbies is low.
But at least there's always a team like Iowa State to make you feel just a little better about yourselves...

Ben, that sound you hear is the wheat waving as John Cornish runs past the K-state defense into the end zone.
Everybody seems to forget that in 03 when we went to the Final, we lost to Ball State in Hawaii in one of the first games of the season. Shit happens.
So, since we beat K-State, and they beat Texas, does that make us better than Texas. I'd like to think so.
